TGCF Rarepairs Gotcha for Gaza

What is the TGCF Rarepairs Gotcha for Gaza event?It is a fundraiser event dedicated to creating fan-works (such as fanfics and fanart) in exchange for donations to the people of Palestine.(We are not officially associated with TGCF or its donghua / manhua team. This is just a fandom-run event to raise funds for Palestinians)

What does a Rarepair mean?

*In this specific event, the term “rarepair” would be used to refer to any TGCF ship besides HuaLian, FengQing, and BeefLeaf.
*Any ships other than the three will be considered rarepairs.
*They also include poly ships (that can include the 3 ships mentioned above, like Xianle4 for example.)

How Does It Work?

For donations of $5 USD-$8 USD to any of the fundraisers listed below, you will be able to request a prompt and receive the respective fan-work from our volunteer creators! (Your prompt will be randomly assigned to an artist / writer accordingly, but if there are any concerns, feel free to dm us!)
Just take a screenshot of your donation for proof (you can block out any personal information)!
You can request a prompt when prompt requests are open.
($5 USD for SFW, $8 USD for NSFW fanfic/ fanart).
-Only those 18+ are able to request NSFW prompts!
-You can request as many prompts as you want, as long as your corresponding donation amounts to the number of requests!
-Minimum requirements for a fanfic and a fanart are a 1k minimum word count & a sketch respectively

Timeline

  • Creator signups will be open from 8th June to 15th June. (Due to the escalating situation in Gaza, we have decided to go with this timeline.)

  • Prompt requests will be open from 16th June to 16th July. Link to donation form: https://forms.gle/ybXpiFnwDjkcN2RL

  • Donors will receive their completed fanworks in 2 batches: once half of our prompts have been filled, mods will email donors their fic / art, and once all prompts are filled, mods will email donors their remaining fanworks as the second batch (using the email donors filled in in the form).

  • A: Yes! According to your request, your prompt will be assigned to the corresponding creator.

  • Q: Is NanYao considered a rarepair?

  • A: No. Any forms of HuaLian, FengQing, or BeefLeaf are not considered a rarepair in this event.

  • Q: Can I request platonic pairings? (HC & MQ, FX & XL, etc.)

  • A: Yes! Platonic pairings are allowed as long as they are the main focus of the prompt.
